Job Brief:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Management (SCM) Staff member to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation of our supply chain activities. This role involves coordinating and optimizing all aspects of the supply chain process, from procurement to delivery, to meet the company’s operational and strategic goals.


Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels, manage stock rotations, and conduct regular inventory audits to prevent shortages and overstock situations.
  • Logistics Coordination: Collaborate with logistics partners to streamline transportation, warehousing, and distribution processes, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods.
  • Supplier Relations: Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and evaluate supplier performance to secure the best terms and quality.
  • Demand Planning: Assist in forecasting demand to align supply chain activities with vessels schedules and requirements needed.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze supply chain data to identify inefficiencies, implement improvements, and optimize the overall supply chain performance.
  • Compliance: Ensure all supply chain operations comply with relevant regulations and standards, including health, safety, and environmental guidelines.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in the development and implementation of supply chain strategies aimed at enhancing efficiency, reducing costs, and improving service levels.
  • Administrative tasks: Perform other administrative duties as required to support the supply chain operations.


Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma’s degree in Shipping (KALK), Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Proven 1-3 years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, or procurement.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in supply chain software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, inventory management software).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suites.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
