Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily tugboat and barge operational activities.
• Monitor and optimize vessel movements, voyage progress, ETD, ETA, loading, unloading, and operational schedules.
• Coordinate with vessel crews, customers/charterers, port/shipping agents, terminals, port authorities, and internal departments.
• Ensure vessel readiness and operational requirements are fulfilled before deployment.
• Verify voyage reports and ensure all operational documents are complete and submitted
• Identify, manage, and resolve operational issues, delays, and disruptions.
• Monitor fleet utilization and analyze voyage performance.
• Operational cost control such as controling fuel consumption, operational expenses and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with company operational procedures, maritime regulations, and safety requirements.
• Prepare operational updates and provide recommendations to the superior.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Marine Transportation, Maritime Management, Shipping and Port Management, Logistics, Transportation Management, or other relevant fields.
• Minimum 4–5 years of experience in marine operations, tug and barge operations, vessel operations, shipping, port operations, or marine logistics.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a senior operational, supervisory, or team coordination role.
• Strong understanding of tugboat and barge operations, vessel movement monitoring, voyage execution, and port operations.
• Familiar and understand with vessel operational documentation, operational reporting, and maritime compliance requirements.
• Understand with Fuel planning and consumption monitoring
• Strong leadership, coordination, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with GPS, AIS, vessel tracking systems, or fleet management systems is an advantage.
• Good communication skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.
• Willing to work outside normal working hours and travel to ports, terminals, vessels, or other operational locations when required.
